BlueVault is conveniently located adjacent to major highways in Dallas, San Diego, and Orange counties. Signing up for your safe deposit box is easy.
You can choose from 11 sizes of safe deposit boxes and rent month-to-month or annually. Prices start at only $22 per month. Pay via check, credit, or debit. You may also pay cash with a six-month minimum payment. An acceptable photo ID showing a US address is required to sign up. Rent online now!

We are the largest safe deposit facilities in America. BlueVault serves a wide range in our community, from private citizens to public institutions. Our only business is keeping valuables protected and insured.
BlueVault respects your privacy. You get a new lock with the only keys. When you visit you can work with your items in a privacy room or our private conference room. You always feel comfortable and secure.
We are neither a bank nor part of the banking system. And unlike safe deposit boxes at banks, at BlueVault you get $5,000 insurance coverage included, in the event of a loss such as a disaster.
(For those who desire higher levels of coverage, our insurance partner AXA can also provide high limits of zero-deductible coverage at remarkably low rates.)
Your valuables are protected in our 90-ton vault, wrapped in 11 layers of electronic security, monitored around-the-clock by Siemens.

Getting started is quick and easy. You can rent online right here on our website, or just drop by. All you need is a driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID, and a valid U.S. address. We don’t require your Social Security number, making the process simple and private. You can sign up in about 15 minutes, pay with cash, check, or card, and even lock up your valuables right then and there. We’re open 10am-5pm Monday through Friday, and 10am-3pm on Saturdays. Easy as that!
You can store almost anything that's legal and safe. The only restrictions are on dangerous, toxic, or illegal items (such as chemicals, live ammo, or food). What you keep in your box is your business. You get a brand-new lock and the only keys. We’ve had everything from family heirlooms to valuable collectibles stored here. Your items will be safe and secure with us.
Our smallest box starts at just $22 per month. Pretty good deal, right? You get 11 sizes to choose from, small to huge. Sign up for a year to lock in your price and you’ll get one month free, which lowers the monthly cost. Check out our sizes and prices on this page.
Unlike a bank which gives you nothing, at BlueVault every box comes with $5,000 all-risk insurance at no extra charge. If you need more coverage, you can add it on for about a quarter of a penny per dollar per year. It’s zero-deductible, even covers cash, and is issued by AXA, one of the biggest insurers out there.
You sure can! You can add a secondary occupant (or two). They’ll need to register in person with a valid ID, but they don’t need to be there when you sign up – you can add them later. Once they’re added, they’ll have full access, so choose wisely!
We’ve made this as smooth as possible. If you’ve added a secondary tenant, they can access your box anytime – even after you’re gone. If you don’t have a secondary, someone will need a court order, which takes a bit more time. Either way, it’s way easier than with a bank, which locks up the box as soon as they hear about a death. Adding a secondary is the easiest route for your loved ones.
Yes, you can store handguns, rifles – whatever’s legal. Ammo’s a no-go for safety reasons, though. A 3x10x24 box ($37/month) is popular for handguns and disassembled rifles, though we do have sizes for long guns.
Nope! You don’t need to be a U.S. citizen – you just need a valid U.S. address. Bring an acceptable photo ID (a driver’s license works), and you’re good to go. We’ve got clients from all over who travel in and out. BlueVault works for you, no matter where you’re from.
